Teen Fights For Life, Dogs Killed After Being Hit By Car In Montgomery County

Montgomery County police are investigating a serious pedestrian collision that killed two dogs and left a teenager fighting for her life.

Emergency crews were called to the 6300 block of Muncaster Mill Road around 4:21 p.m., Monday, April 10 after receiving reports of a serious collision.

Officers arrived to find a 17-year-old girl who had been seriously injured while walking her two dogs across the street.

Investigation revealed that the teen and her dogs were struck by a red Toyota Corolla that was traveling south on Muncaster Mill Road just before Bowie Mill Road.

The driver of the Toyota stayed on the scene after the crash. 

The two dogs were pronounced dead at the scene and the teen was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
